Perhaps you are looking to be attuned to Reiki or to learn Reiki for the first time. Or perhaps you are already a Reiki healing and are wondering how to progress with it. There is certainly a wide variety in terms of courses and teaching, and I hope this short article will give you a better idea of what to expect.
Most reliable Reiki masters teach Reiki in the traditional way, where the student receives regular guidance and progresses at their own pace. You first come for a one or two-day in-person workshop. On that day, you receive your Reiki 1 attunement, which is like tuning into the Reiki channel.
You also learn how to self-heal and give treatment to your friends and family, and you learn about the spiritual and holistic aspects of Reiki. Afterward, you must heal yourself and meditate for a minimum of 21 days. During this time, I recommend that you keep a Reiki journal to track your progress and note any helpful observations. Your Reiki master, if he or she is teaching in the traditional way, will be there to provide support and supervision.
After 21 days, preferably after 3 months of self-healing and healing friends and family, you come for Reiki 2, which usually lasts two days with your Reiki master in person. You are tuned into Reiki 2, the next level, which tunes you more finely to the Reiki channel, you learn distance Kambo healing and surrogate healing (healing others when they are not with you), and you get additional practical experience.
Most people become professionals after this weekend, practicing on friends and family first, and then paying for treatments if they are ready or willing. In some disciplines of Reiki, there is no Reiki 2, but a gradual progression from Reiki 1 to Reiki Master.
It is not essential to be a Reiki Master to be an excellent Reiki healer. After Reiki 2, continue to practice Reiki, self-healing and meditation. With Reiki, you learn by doing. It is experiential learning. You cannot learn from a book. You have to feel it and let it flow through your body. When you are totally ready to let Reiki master you, maybe after three years or more after your Reiki 1, you then come in contact with your Reiki Masters. Some unscrupulous teachers don’t understand the importance of being ready and give the mastery after a year or a few months, and the student has wasted his time, because he learns nothing.
So when you are ready, you can do Reiki Masters. Some Reiki systems have two levels of Master, Master Practitioner, and Master Teacher, while in other systems they are both contained in the same Reiki Master training.
In addition to attending workshops, it is almost essential to attend Reiki shares to progress with Reiki. This is sharing Reiki in a group setting with other healers. You can give and receive healing, meditate and experience more in a supportive environment, and learn more about energy healing and holistic living.
If you can’t make it to a Reiki sharing, you can create your own. You don’t have to be a Reiki master to run your own Reiki share. You can even just be a Reiki 1 healer. I also recommend that you continue to practice daily self-healing, even if it is only 5 minutes, every day. It makes a wonderful difference to your physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual energy and health.

Spiritual Coaching and Spiritual Response Therapy
This is where spiritual coaching comes in. Spiritual coaching can help reveal where the roots and “real” causes of your mental, emotional and physical blockages and challenges lie. Spiritual coaching can help you eliminate these roots and causes and free yourself from these challenges and problems.
Spiritual coaching can help you discover your soul’s purpose and then design goals and action plans so that the direction of your path leads you to live your soul’s purpose, your life’s purpose and to get more of the results you want, more joy and more serenity in your life.
How does spiritual coaching do this? First of all, because spiritual coaching is associated with spiritual response therapy, through spiritual response therapy we can seek out and remove all the past life and present life limitations and blockages that are in our way.
Not only can Spiritual Response Therapy combined with Spiritual Coaching help reveal and remove the mental, emotional and physical blocks you have, but more importantly, it can remove the roots of the problems or challenges, also known as spiritual blocks. Once the spiritual blocks are removed, it is easier to make the positive changes you want.
